Office of Engagement seeking Jefferson Awards nominations

The Office of Engagement is currently accepting nominations for Multiplying Good’s annual Jefferson Awards, which recognize and celebrate individual Purdue employees for meaningful public service to their communities.

For over 45 years, the Jefferson Awards have transformed communities by inspiring action through celebration. The Office of Engagement is seeking nominations for individuals young and old, regardless of classification or rank, who reflect the spirit of Purdue as a land-grant university by giving back to their communities in meaningful ways. All active employees are eligible to be nominated, and self-nominations are welcome.

Purdue recognizes up to six Jefferson Award winners each year, and the top winner will be selected from these awardees to represent Purdue at the national awards ceremony.

Details about the awards, including examples of submissions from previous winners, information on evaluation metrics and frequently asked questions, can be found here.

Nominations are open through Oct. 21, and the nomination form can be accessed online.
